Keeping your kids happy through the long drive could be very challenging so you should make sure that you find something interesting for them to do.

Kids would tend to get restless and bored when they are confined in small places for a long period of time so it would be a good idea to have some back up plans. Kids fighting in the backseat while you drive could be really irritating. To avoid having some grumpy kids at the back of your car, you might want to stop frequently and let the kids out of the car for a few minutes. Let them stretch their legs for a while before continuing on the trip.
