Baekgaard was created by founder Peer Baekgaard, a Danish immigrant who came to the United States as a young man and founded a company designing and manufacturing high end mens’ gifts. Later, womens’ gifts and home decor were added, always in keeping with the high quality philosophy that guided him from the beginning.
