Despite the glam shot of the now-teenage twins on the cover, this trio of parties is strictly from their preteen years. Following their trademark formula of minimal conversation and maximum singing and dancing, the pair party from the islands of Hawaii to the Isle of Manhattan. First up: the gals hit the beaches of Waikiki along with three of their friends to sing odes to sand, surf, and swimsuits. Then it’s on to Lincoln Center where New York City Ballet dancer Eva Natanya (as Danielle) gives the girls–and two of their friends, of course–a private lesson, a practice in Central Park, and an up-close view of the troupe’s performance. What does she get in return? Sage advice from the youngsters on conquering preperformance jitters. (They have worked steadily since they were toddlers, after all.) Finally, the girls melodiously reminisce about their ski vacation as they bake cookies for a Christmas celebration. A couple of boys crash the bash, Santa arrives undercover, and Clue the basset hound provides semi-comic relief. In between, the girls sing “Jingle Bells,” “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” and some original tunes.
